Training resumes tonight (Weds 1st Sept) at 6.30pm, Denefield School, as before.

This coming Saturday, Sept 4th, we will be taking part in an 11-a-side tournament, based at the Reading Activity Centre (perhaps better known as Alfred Sutton School). Please note that, in order to register players, we need everyone there (at the Crescent Road entrance) at 8am SHARP, so all players are banned from going to the pub on Friday night!

Our new league season, in the Woodley & Earley District League, kicks off on Saturday, 11th September - more details to follow.

It might not seem important, but if subscription fees aren't paid on time, it affects our ability to do things for the boys, such as the trip to watch Reading v West Brom, and the excellent session with the Academy afterwards.

We are also under pressure from the Treasurer of the Club (who in turn is put under pressure by the local leagues) to keep our accounts up to date.

A number of boys in our group have not had their subs kept up to date, and this includes, sadly, some of those who have now left us. To make matters worse, some of those who have left have not returned their kit to us, which we do need back (it doesn't belong to the players, it belongs to Purley Jubilee F.C.).

If you owe subs, please "square up" as soon as possible, and if you are in touch with those who have left us, do please make them aware that taking our kit away and/or not paying subs for the time they have spent with us is... and I wish I could put this more delicately... theft!
